Kochi is all set to welcome art lovers!
The 3rd edition of the Kochi-Muziris Biennale begins today. The city has been in preparation for the art festival for months. With Sudarshan Shetty as curator, artists from all over the world have been flying into the country and to the little Fort Kochi town, installing and setting up their exhibits with careful precision.
Sudarshan says: “Following the first two editions, it would be tough to raise the bar further… KMB is a people’s biennale, and that makes it special.”
And people’s biennale it really is! The Biennale held in Fort Kochi has become a point of pride for every resident of the place and everyone is keen to be engaged with the celebration in some way.
